Tomorrowland is famous for its jaw-dropping stages, world-class DJs and out-of-this-world production — but this year, one of its most talked-about moments came from a truly unexpected source. A 101-year-old raver stole the show at the Belgian festival, and social media has been in love ever since.
The gentleman in question is Count Henri d’Outremont, a 101-year-old who was spotted joyfully partying alongside thousands of ravers at Tomorrowland 2024. Videos of him dancing with festivalgoers went viral almost instantly, with fans dubbing him potentially “the oldest raver ever” — and, given the circumstances, they’re probably not wrong.
Count Henri was initially invited to experience Tomorrowland by Belgian broadcaster Radio Contact back in 2024, when — as the station wrote — “we offered this beautiful moment to this gentleman in 2024, and this year again we’re going to live plenty of beautiful moments.” Two years later, he’s back at De Schorre, and clearly having the time of his life.
Beyond his unforgettable festival appearance, Count Henri is also a World War II veteran who served with the Piron Brigade — the Belgian brigade that took part in the Normandy landings alongside Allied forces. That extra layer of context has made his Tomorrowland appearance hit even harder for those following the story online.
