Adam Dworak, better known by his stage name 4D4M returns with a bold new reinterpretation of one of modern music’s most recognizable tracks, unveiling MAD WORLD (RUN FOR COVER): his hardstyle-driven rework of Mad World.

The release takes the emotional core of the original and pushes it into a heavier, more cinematic electronic space. While the melody remains familiar, everything around it is rebuilt with distorted low-end pressure, atmospheric tension, and harder, more aggressive rhythmic energy.

Originally written by Roland Orzabal of Tears for Fears and first recorded by Tears for Fears, Mad World has been reworked across multiple generations of artists, most notably through the widely known version by Gary Jules. 4D4M now adds his own interpretation to that lineage, shifting the track into a darker hard dance direction.

Built on contrast, MAD WORLD (RUN FOR COVER) moves between restrained, emotional sections and high-impact, peak-time energy. That push and pull is what drives the track, turning familiarity into something more intense and immediate.

Over recent releases, 4D4M has continued shaping a sound that blends emotional source material with hard-hitting production, leaning into cinematic structure while keeping a strong focus on dancefloor impact.

The result is a rework that bridges nostalgia with modern hardstyle energy, built for both club systems and repeat listening.

MAD WORLD (RUN FOR COVER) is out now on all major streaming platforms.
