This wasn’t the nightcap Kristin Juszczyk imagined.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, the wife of 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk revealed her precious pups, Mozzarella and Pierogi, had an unfortunate encounter with a skunk after she came home from a show.
“Nothing like coming home at 2 a.m. from a concert and letting your dogs out and they get sprayed by a f–king skunk,” Kristin began in her video.
“So we put them in a shower, we washed them. You guys, what the hell?”
Kristin then pressed her nearly 78,000 Instagram followers on the best remedies to fix the stinky situation.
“I was planning on getting Taco Bell and instead we all got skunked,” she wrote over a separate slide.
The nightmarish incident comes just as Juszczyk, 32, and the 49ers wrapped their bye week.
The seven-time Pro Bowler enjoyed a restful getaway with Kristin, whom he has been married to since 2019.
“Recharged. Refocused,” Juszczyk posted Sunday on Instagram.
The 49ers (5-3) are looking to rebound after a three-game skid.
Entering the bye week, head coach Kyle Shanahan told the team, “We got to get better in every aspect,” following a 31-17 loss to the Bengals on Oct. 29.
“The things that disappointed me were some of the fundamentals of just throwing and catching, tackling. And some of those penalties that cost us,” he said at the time.
The 49ers will now travel to Jacksonville to face the Jaguars (6-2) on Sunday.
Kristin, a fashion enthusiast who designs unique looks for game days, is a staple at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.
She is close with Claire Kittle, the wife of 49ers tight end George Kittle, and has become friendly with Olivia Culpo, who is engaged to running back Christian McCaffrey.
