“For all you little girls watching and for the ones that are here tonight too, it’s something that I’m doing, I’m getting up every single day and I’m looking at myself in the mirror and saying, ‘I am beautiful. I am smart. I’m godly. I’m fearless.’ If somebody tells me I can’t do it, hold my beer. Watch this,” Wilson said, according to ABC News.

Hodges, who joined Wilson on the red carpet earlier in the night, also posted an Instagram video of the singer holding up an envelope after being named Entertainer of the Year.

“Entertainer of the Year holy duck,” he wrote.

Wilson previously praised Hodges in a June interview with People.

“Duck is the kind of dude who high-fives me on the way in the door and on the way out and says, ‘Go get it,’” Wilson said.

“He knows how important this dream is to me.”

Hodges is focused on real estate following his retirement from professional football in 2022.

He signed with the Steelers in 2019 as an undrafted free agent before joining the Rams two years later.
