Travis Kelce wasn’t at Taylor Swift’s concert in Argentina on Thursday, but that doesn’t mean the star-studded couple isn’t going strong.
The star Chiefs tight end was at a charity event in Kansas City while the 12-time Grammy winner performed two surprise songs — “The Very First Night” and “Labyrinth” — with the latter including the lyrics, “Oh no, I’m falling in love again.”
The All-Pro NFLer certainly had a good excuse for missing the singer’s first show of the international leg of her Eras Tour.
Kelce, 34, supported teammate and quarterback Patrick Mahomes on Thursday at his third annual Mahomies Foundation Gala at The Midland Theatre.
The quarterback’s “15 and the Mahomies Foundation” is “dedicated to improving the lives of children through initiatives that focus on health, wellness, underserved communities and other charitable causes,” according to its website.
Kelce was seated next to Mahomes, who attended the event with his wife, Brittany, in a video the foundation posted on Instagram.
Mahomes, 28, was honored with the Founder’s Award from the Black College Football Hall of Fame for his continued support of historically black colleges.
As for Swift, the singer rocked the stage in Buenos Aires in front of 80,000 screaming fans.
Although the “Cruel Summer” singer didn’t mention her real-life love story, the crowd went crazy when she sang she’s “falling in love” while wearing a stunning blue dress.
It came less than a week after Kelce was asked at a press conference in Germany — ahead of the Chiefs’ 21-14 win over the Dolphins Nov. 5 — if he’s “in love” with Swift.
“I’m going to keep my personal relationship personal,” Kelce said at the time.
Swift has made it a tradition on the Eras Tour to sing two surprise songs during each show.
Thursday’s surprise songs at the Estadio River Plate — where Swift has two more shows before heading to Brazil — were nothing short of exciting for Swifties shipping the whirlwind romance.
Kelce and Swift will soon reunite as the NFL star, whose Chiefs are on a bye this week, plans on flying out to see her perform at either her Friday or Saturday show, a source confirmed to Page Six.
The two-time Super Bowl champion is expected to fly back to the states to attend Monday’s practice as the Chiefs prepare for their Week 11 “Monday Night Football” matchup with brother Jason Kelce and the Philadelphia Eagles on Nov. 20.
Kelce discussed his bye week plans with his big brother during Wednesday’s installment of their “New Heights” podcast.
“I might just say f—k it and go somewhere nice,” he said.
“My skin’s getting real pale, so I’ve got to go someplace sunny. Someplace south, closer to the equator.”
Swift returned to her record-breaking Eras Tour after two months off — during which she was spotted holding hands with Kelce on numerous occasions and hanging out with Brittany and the Chiefs’ WAGs in New York City.
The superstar singer joked about her time off when she messed up while performing the song “Champagne Problems.”
“I had two months off and practiced this so many times,” she said, laughing.
Kelce and Swift were first linked in September, and went public with their relationship the next month when they were seen holding hands while out together in New York City.
