According to reports, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! fans are likely to First Dates star Fred Sirieix and former UKIP leader Nigel Farage head into the jungle next week.

However, it appears the pair have a history of spats, which have since been uncovered following reports they will appear on the ITV show together.

Fans have discovered a past social media feud dating as far back as 2017, with the row appearing on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.

French maître d’hôtel Fred, 51, once branded, Nigel, 59, a “coward” on social media, accusing the ex-politician and current GB News host of being fond of “money and attention”.

In 2017, he wrote: “Farage is a coward who likes money, attention and the sound of his own voice far too much. Definitely not a selfless idealistic revolutionary.”

It comes as the stars appear set to join the I’m A Celeb line-up this year, with Nigel reportedly being offered over £1 million for the gig.

In 2018, Fred also tweeted that he asked a taxi driver to switch off the radio when he heard Nigel’s voice.

Political figure Nigel’s reported entry into the jungle comes after former Health Secretary Matt Hancock caused controversy by appearing on the show last year.

Ultimately, he came in third, with Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner finishing as a runner-up and former England footballer Jill Scott being crowned Queen of the Jungle.

A new season of I’m A Celeb is set to kick of next week on November 19, as ITV bosses treat fans to 105 minutes of brand-new content from the Australian campsite.

Ten celebs are expected to touch down on the other side of the world, with the Sun reporting the apparent line-up for this year.

Among the stars reported to be going in is Britney Spears’ sister Jamie Lynn Spears, which would undoubtedly cause shockwaves given the recent release of the singer’s bombshell autobiography.

Made In Chelsea’s Sam Thompson is also apparently making his mark on the ITV show just weeks after his girlfriend Zara McDermott finished her stint on Strictly Come Dancing.

This Morning’s Josie Gibson is another big name said to be making a splash down under.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! kicks off on November 19 on ITV.
