MIAMI DOLPHINS (-13.5) over Las Vegas Raiders

There’s always a bigger fish.

The night owls of Las Vegas travel to Miami and are riding high; they just smashed two pitiful New York offenses.

Antonio Pierce is still the king of New York! But stop beating your chest. Miami is a different mammal.

The Dolphins should run it all over the Raiders while stopping the ground game on the other end.

Pro Football Focus gives the Dolphins the fourth-best run-defense grade in the NFL, and they have, by far, the most yards per carry in the NFL (5.9).

Watch Raheem Mostert and/or De’Von Achane run wild on a bad Raiders run defense.

Lay the juice, this one’s over before it starts.

WASHINGTON COMMANDERS (-9.5) over New York Giants

How the mighty have fallen, Don Bosco Prep alumni Tommy DeVito gets another start as the Giants signal-caller this weekend.

The former Ironman has looked horrific behind a putrid offensive line, and even the Commanders, who traded away key defensive pieces, will crush this offense in its tracks.

Betting on the NFL?

The Giants were only +1.5 against the Raiders and were blown out by 24. Now they face the Commanders as 9.5-point underdogs, and even that is generous.

If and when the Giants fall behind, this will be a bloodbath, with the Giants averaging 3.4 yards per play in their last three (worst in the NFL) while the Commanders put up 6.1 (seventh) in the same time span.

Last week: 1-0-1. Texans (W), Lions (P)
2023 season: 7-11-2.
