The Yankees are adding a young arm to increase their bullpen depth.

Yerry De Los Santos, who spent the last two seasons with the Pirates, has reached agreement with the Yankees on a contract, according to his representatives from Epitome Sports Management, who announced the deal Monday on X, formerly known as Twitter.

De Los Santos, 25, appeared in 22 games last season for the Pirates and pitched to a 3.33 ERA.

He went unclaimed on waivers after the season and became a free agent.
