Aspiga two piece needlecord suit in Atlantic Blue

The one that got away…. I’ve been working with Aspiga recently, and have been very impressed with not only their impeccable sustainability manifesto, but their highly wearable and practical designs.

This comfortable, 70s-inspired suit ticks all the boxes for being a future wardrobe workhorse.

Worn together with just a bra hidden beneath the blazer (I would size up for a more modern, slouchy look) and a pair of platform heels.

I would sling a trusty oversized clutch under my arm and be ready to party with the best of them.

But the two-piece is infinitely wearable as separates too making it that coveted combination of practicality and cool.

Sparkly Clutch Bag

I’ve been eyeing these up all season, and it has just felt too extravagant to treat myself to one of these beauties, as they really are an occasional item.

However, the magpie in me has everything crossed that Santa may have slipped one under the tree for me, as they really are an instant outfit-maker, taking an ensemble from daytime to all out glam in the flash of a diamante.

Some of my favourites are the Cult Gaia Hera Nano Rhinestone Shoulder bag and the bow-shaped Isabella Ribbon Shaped Clutch by Verano Hill. What these babies lack in practicality (you’re lucky if you can fit your lipstick and phone in one) they make up for in wow-factor.

Melograno Pomander in Scented Terracotta by Santa Maria Novella

The ultimate in wardrobe care, this exquisite ceramic pomander by the oldest apothecary in the world, based in bustling Florence in Italy is an absolute joy.

I have bought these for friends in the past, and they are regularly on my Christmas list as the scrumptious Melograno scent doesn’t last forever.

The perfect gift for the woman who has everything (my family think that’s me – we beg to differ) this will keep moths and unwelcome whiffs at bay in the most stylish way and leave your clothes smelling absolutely delicious. Once you try it you’ll be as hooked as I am.

In-Flight Bag by Anya Hindmarch

This one is an investment, but a girl is allowed to lust! I travel a lot for work and pleasure and despite helping people with it for a living – packing is my least favourite thing to do.

This solves all your travel woes, whether you are hopping on a flight or staying overnight.

With a place for literally everything in a well thought out chic bag that coordinates beautifully with the rest of the collection… I can dream…
