Aquaman was heating things up.
Kelly Clarkson had a very awkward interaction with Jason Momoa after the “Aquaman” star began performing a NSFW movement during an appearance on her talk show.
Momoa, who was on to promote “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,” gave Clarkson, 41, a behind-the-scenes look at one of the sequences that had the action star gyrating atop a saddle of an invisible creature that would be generated into the film.
“What training was that for?” the “American Idol” alum asked.
“That’s how you go faster. So if you want the animal to go faster, you’ve gotta really go,” Momoa, 44, explained while moving his hips incredibly fast.
“If you wanna slow it down, you’ve gotta…” the “Justice League” star continued while sensually thrusting his hip. “‘Cause there’s no steering wheel!”
Clarkson laughed and attempted to veer the conversation in a different direction.
“So, there was a really awesome Aquaman suit in this one. I like this one,” the “Breakaway” singer stated in a desperate bid to change the subject.
Clarkson’s abrupt change of conversation caused Momoa to chuckle.
“Did you like that transition for daytime?” Clarkson asked before adding: “Look, I didn’t know how to segue.”
The pair later bonded over going through a tough time in their personal lives, but didn’t go into detail. (Clarkson has dealt with a tumultuous divorce from Brandon Blackstock since 2020 and Momoa split from Lisa Bonet last year.)
“Man, that’s the hardest when you have to show up for work and you’re going through something that’s just so hard to compartmentalize,” Clarkson noted.
“Tell me about it,” Momoa agreed.
“Yeah, it’s not fun. I wouldn’t know anything about it,” Clarkson went on. “All of us, we all have to show up at work and you just have to smile!”
Momoa and Bonet’s split made headlines while he was in the middle of filming the “Aquaman” sequel, which is set to hit theaters on Dec. 22.
Despite their breakup, Momoa and Bonet, who share 16-year-old daughter Lola, still see themselves as a family.
“Lisa couldn’t be here so we’re representing, me and the babies,” Momoa told Entertainment Tonight while attending the premiere of “The Batman” which starred his stepdaughter Zoë Kravitz.
“We’re very excited to just be here. … It’s still family, you know,” the actor said.
