Hugh Bonneville has reportedly been on a string of dates with actress Claire Rankin.
The Downton Abbey star, 60, has reportedly been spending time with Claire, 53, at his London flat as well as an evening at the luxurious Broadwick Soho Hotel.
In pictures obtained by The Sun, the pair could be seen walking in arm in arm on a recent outing. According to the same publication, he also took the Canadian-born actress to a bash at Buckingham Palace to meet Queen Camilla and to dinner with one of his Downton Abbey co-stars.
Claire was previously married to Josh Randall, who appeared alongside Hugh nearly 20 years ago in a US sitcom about a woman’s tangled love life called Courting Alex.
The former couple tied the knot in 2000 but split 13 years later.
An onlooker who saw the pair strolling in central London said: “Hugh and Claire looked so happy together, they couldn’t stop smiling.
“They looked like any other couple and seemed to be really enjoying each other’s company.”
Express.co.uk have contacted Hugh Bonneville’s representatives for comment.
On Wednesday, they were said to have enjoyed dinner with Hugh’s Downton co-star Michelle Dockery.
Claire shared a photo taken at the airport as she prepared to return to Canada on Friday.
It comes after the Downton Abbey star split from his wife Lulu after 25 years of marriage.
Hugh and Lulu married back in November 1998, with the star previously admitting he “thought I would be a bachelor for years”.
The couple also renewed their vows just five years ago, marking their 20th wedding anniversary in Las Vegas’s Graceland Chapel.
They were last seen together in public back in April of last year when they attended a gala for The Old Vic theatre in London.
