Season 22 of American Idol is coming to a close with a star-studded grand finale. The Top 3 finalists Abi Carter, Will Moseley and Jack Blocker will take the stage for a final time in hopes of winning the singing competition.
The finale will feature performances from John Bon Jovi, Wynonna Judd, New Kids on the Block, Seal, Hootie & The Blowfish, CeCe Winans, Jason Mraz, Cody Johnson, Bishop Briggs and American Idol alum Nick Fradiani.
Judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan and host Ryan Seacrest returned for the new season of American Idol, which is Perry’s last, she revealed in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel Live! ahead of the Season 22 premiere on Feb. 18.
Perry opened up about the finale in a recent interview with KABC-TV. “I think I will be crying at anything,” she said. “It’s been a beautiful journey and I love watching these kids grow and becoming this big beautiful patchwork quilt.”
