Alexis Lafreniere is having a game to remember.

Already with one goal, he notched his second of Game 3, a tie-breaking tally that was as impressive as it was clutch.

He sped into the Panthers’ zone, skated past Dmitry Kulikov and beat goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky with a backhand to give the Rangers a 3-2 lead in the second period.

It was his sixth goal of the postseason and 12th point on the heels of the best regular season of his young career.

Lafreniere amassed personal bests of 28 goals, 29 assists and 57 points across 82 games, and that momentum has carried over in the playoffs, where he now has a pair of two-goal games this postseason.
