Bradley Cooper Looks Unrecognizable After Shaving Part Of His Beard

Bradley Cooper‘s new hair change will make you do a double take.

The Maestro actor looked completely unrecognizable while enjoying an afternoon stroll in New York City June 10 .

During the outing, the 49-year-old showed off his facial hair transformation, in which he shaved a thick patch around his chin. He kept the rest of his facial hair intact, leaving the sides of his cheeks, upper lip and jawline area well groomed.

The Star Is Born actor—who was sporting his usual scruff at Bottlerock last month alongside girlfriend Gigi Hadid—clearly let the mane focus be on his makeover, as he opted for a casual outfit. He rocked a gray button-up shirt with floral embroidery, denim pants and sneakers.

While Bradley hasn’t shared insight into his drastic change, he’s known for undergoing major transformations for movie roles. In fact, he previously addressed the controversy surrounding his prosthetic nose to portray legendary composer Leonard Bernstein in Maestro.

“The truth is, I’ve done this whole project out of love,” Bradley told CBS Mornings in November. “And it’s so clear to me where I come from—my nose is very similar to Lenny’s, actually. The prosthetic is actually like a silk sheet.”
