Returning to her hometown of Ghent, Charlotte de Witte delivered a massive 15-year celebration event. Amongst those who also performed were Armin van Buuren, who shared his appreciation for the opportunity on social media.
Few artists in dance music have achieved more than Armin van Buuren, as he has been at the forefront of the scene for over two decades. That doesn’t mean he still isn’t excited for new opportunities and the ability to continue to share his art with the world. Over the weekend, the Dutch DJ was able to take part in Charlotte de Witte’s massive hometown show. In a night celebrating techno, he was able to blur the lines between his trance works and techno, delivering a powerful set.
The venue and vibe of the event gave van Buuren a chance to explore some of his harder, more driving works and those of his collaborators. It was clear he enjoyed the opportunity as he took to social media and wrote, “One crazy night in Gent 🇧🇪 Much love for welcoming me & bringing all the energy! @charlottedewittemusic thanks for having me, really loved every moment 🙏.” It also included a reel of photos and videos from the night, giving fans the chance to relive the moment and recognize the true joy in Armin van Buuren!
