Drum & bass icon Goldie is back. The British pioneer has just dropped a brand-new single, ‘Jungle Daze’ featuring Natalie Williams, out now via London Records. The release also arrives alongside the announcement of a landmark orchestral performance at London’s Royal Festival Hall on 14 November 2026 as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival.
‘Jungle Daze’ pairs Goldie with jazz vocalist and longtime collaborator Natalie Williams, who previously featured on his 2017 cut ‘I Adore You’ from The Journey Man. Restless as ever, Goldie folds Williams’s voice into a widescreen production that moves between a rush of pristine, time-stretched breaks and a more expansive, cinematic soundscape — at once recalling the sounds and memories of the ’90s while sounding like nothing else before it. The single was premiered earlier today by Nemone on BBC Radio 6 Music, and marks the beginning of a major new chapter for Goldie, with further music and details set to follow in the coming months.
Reflecting on the release, Goldie said: “It’s great with all these young ones getting into the original vibe we made so long ago, just wanted to remind them where it comes from… we lived it and they breathe it. It’s also about looking back and reflecting on the impact of jungle DnB music. We became the Motown of our generation.”
The official video for ‘Jungle Daze’, directed and created by visual artist Katia Schutz, is also live. Weaving together rare archive footage with fan-submitted photos, flyers and memorabilia, the film delivers a vivid time capsule of the formative years of jungle and drum & bass, capturing the people, places and energy that shaped one of Britain’s most influential musical movements as it broke across the globe.
The single arrives just after Goldie announced ‘Dare To Dream’, a special one-off orchestral performance at London’s Royal Festival Hall on 14 November 2026. Staged across two performances, the bespoke production will see Goldie joined by the Elysian Collective, a choir and a host of special guests still to be announced, with the artist also expected to premiere new unreleased music from a forthcoming project, including ‘Jungle Daze’. Blending orchestral composition and improvisation with beats, breaks and his signature Reese bass sound, Dare To Dream is shaping up as a landmark moment in Goldie’s career.
Widely recognised as a foremost architect of drum and bass, Goldie has spent three decades pushing beyond the boundaries of whatever genre he’s occupied. From his landmark 1995 album Timeless, a record that fundamentally altered the landscape of British electronic music, to ambitious orchestral works including Sine Tempore, his instinct has always been to expand rather than consolidate. Dare To Dream is that impulse given its fullest expression yet.
