Thomas Bangalter has made his stance on artificial intelligence in music unmistakably clear. The former Daft Punk producer told Chanel’s Yana Peel that he is “not really interested in the creative usage of artificial intelligence.” Peel is Chanel’s Arts, Culture and Heritage President. The exchange took place at Art Basel in Switzerland back in June. It surfaced publicly on 29 July, when Chanel uploaded the full interview to YouTube.
