“New York City, if there was a roof, we would have blown it away,” Charlotte de Witte wrote on Instagram. “Thanks to Yousuke Yukimatsu for an incredible B2B. What a night.” The reel she shared shows the pair trading behind the decks with visible chemistry and a room reacting like it knew it was witnessing something rare.

Back when the show was announced in April, Yousuke Yukimatsu matched her energy. “I still can’t believe that this is actually happening. I’ve always loved Charlotte’s music, and I play a lot of tracks released on her label KNTXT in my DJ sets. I’m more excited than I can even put into words.” The mutual admiration made the pairing feel earned rather than promotional.

The two operate in adjacent but distinct lanes. Yousuke Yukimatsu has built a devoted following through his open-format, cross-genre approach to underground techno. Charlotte de Witte sits at the peak-time industrial end of the spectrum. Putting them behind the same decks pushed both artists into fresh territory, and the Brooklyn crowd got the benefit.

Yousuke Yukimatsu is next set to join The Prodigy on their Warrior’s Dance tour of the UK and Ireland later this month. Confirmed dates land in Dublin on 20 August, Milton Keynes on 22 August, Edinburgh on 29 August, and Manchester on 30 August.

For Charlotte de Witte, the B2B lands during her most productive year yet. She released a new EP ‘Amor’ earlier this year, following an expanded vinyl edition of her self-titled debut album from 2025. She also launched a full audiovisual live show, ‘The Resistance’, which delivered its XXL debut at Rock Werchter in July. Later this year she plays her only 2026 UK show at London’s Ironworks on 1 November.

The Belgian star also played a surprise Tomorrowland 2026 Mainstage set last month, commemorating 15 years since she first performed at the festival. That moment closed out one of the most talked-about weekends of her career, and the Brooklyn B2B extends that arc into North America. Explore more Charlotte de Witte coverage.
