Armin van Buuren has officially unveiled the A State of Trance 2026: ELEVATION anthem, ‘Always You’, marking a milestone moment as the brand celebrates its 25th anniversary.
For the first time, the ASOT founder joins forces with fellow Dutch trance heavyweight Richard Durand, alongside vocalist Dicosis, on a brand-new original collaboration. While Durand has long built his reputation through high-impact remixes of Tiësto’s ‘Lethal Industry’, ‘Flight 643’, ‘Break My Fall’, and Fragma’s ‘Toca’s Miracle’, this release represents his first studio partnership with van Buuren.
Built around a piano-led breakdown and soaring vocal performance, ‘Always You’ gradually intensifies before launching into a euphoric, mainstage-ready drop. The record carries the hallmarks of classic uplifting trance while maintaining a modern production edge.
The anthem premiered during van Armin van Buuren performance on the ASOT stage at Ultra Music Festival Miami, where it immediately became a standout moment. Since then, the track has featured prominently in his headline sets, including Tomorrowland 2025, cementing its status as a defining live highlight.
2026 marks 25 years since ASOT launched as a modest Dutch radio show before evolving into one of electronic music’s most influential global brands. Beyond the weekly broadcast, ASOT now encompasses international festivals, compilation albums and a dedicated record label. Anniversary celebrations begin this weekend in Rotterdam on 27 and 28 February, with further events scheduled in Vietnam, Hong Kong and Poland later this year.
