Calvin Harris wins $13.5M in first phase of legal dispute against ex-manager

In the midst of his ongoing legal dispute against his former manager, Calvin Harris has won $13.5 million as part of the first phase. 

Following a lawsuit that was filed against his former financial advisor last summer, Calvin Harris has now received the news of having won the first phase of his ongoing legal battle, with the superstar DJ and record producer winning $13.5 million in the process. A hefty sum to say the least, Harris is still seeking another $12 million-plus, as he accuses Thomas St. John of embezzlement.

An initial victory that further proves the wrongdoing against Harris, an arbiter in the Superior Court of California in Los Angeles County ordered St. John to pay the sum of $13,438,666.55, which covers an initial $10 million loan, plus interest, late charges and administrative fees. Moreover, the remaining amount that Harris had invested is heavily centred around a failed real estate project, with St. John still asking for money despite the knowledge of it being fake, as per Harris’s claims on the matter.

Accusations that to this day are denied by St. John, this first phase has gone directly in the favour of Harris, with his ex-manager also facing similar legal disputes against other clients, including the legendary act that is Eric Prydz.
