Charlotte de Witte has announced ‘Amor’, her new three-track EP with Brazilian vocalist CERES, due April 30 on her KNTXT imprint. The Belgian techno leader confirmed the release will arrive with a vinyl edition that adds an instrumental mix of closing track ‘O Movimento’. Notably, the EP opens a fresh collaborative chapter for her label.

Meanwhile, de Witte continues to ride one of the strongest years of her career. She recently staged two 23,000-capacity shows at Flanders Expo and marked her 15th career milestone. Her debut album has a Deluxe Edition to follow. Coverage has spanned Vogue, DJ Mag, Mixmag, Rolling Stone, Billboard, BBC 6 Music and Zane Lowe.

The ‘Amor’ EP centres on CERES, whose breathy Portuguese vocals thread through all three tracks. Her style leans on techno with UKG textures. Subtle motifs across the EP give it a suite-like feel. “This EP is inspired by my love for Portugal and Brazil, the country, the people, the food, the culture,” de Witte said. “Made with lots of amor.”

Crucially, each track carves its own lane. The title track rides a galloping beat with spacey FX and acid swells. ‘Sem Ar’, meaning ‘Airless’, layers frantic percussion over breakbeat-adjacent rhythms. Finally, ‘O Movimento’ pairs a speeding beat with a hi-hat backbone and an acid filter that builds as CERES leans in.

Still, the release lands inside a stacked touring run. De Witte headlines Time Warp Brazil, EDC Las Vegas, We Love Green, Kappa Futur Festival, Awakenings and Sonar this year. In turn, ‘Amor’ will slot into that rotation from April 30. Pre-save via orcd.co.
