Renowned throughout the world for its epic festival, Creamfields serves as one of the premier electronic music focal points. Now the team behind the event is branching out, looking to further support and curate talent.
Taking place across four days at Daresbury, Cheshire, every year, Creamfields brings together 280,000 fans for an epic collection of music and more. What once started as Cream, the team behind the annual event, is now expanding its footprint as it begins a new imprint. Simply titled Creamfields Recordings, the organisers are partnering with Manchester-based music and culture company NQ for the new endeavor. The partnership allows for the new label to hone in on both new sounds as well as other trends and styles across the industry.
Discussing the venture, Michael Adex NQ CEO/Founder, says“NQ was built in Manchester with the ambition of impacting the world from the North, so joining forces with Creamfields a powerhouse born from the same spirit feels like a natural evolution. Together, we’re creating a future facing label dedicated to discovering and developing breakthrough talent, elevating fresh voices onto one of the biggest stages in global dance and youth culture, and building meaningful careers with music that resonates worldwide.” The launch of Creamfields Records is meant to support rising talent while providing a home for established ones as well.
