If you want the job, don’t be running your mouth.

Kelly Ripa divulged a moment on her talk show “Live With Kelly and Mark” on Thursday alongside her husband Mark Consuelos that served as a warning to all future job candidates.

The morning show emcee, 53, revealed that they refused to hire a job prospect after the person talked badly about one of her friends.

Ripa and the “Riverdale” alum, 52, were first discussing what not to say on a first date, and he noted that romantic no-nos are similar to “bad-mouthing a boss when you’re interviewing somebody. You know not to hire someone.”

She then asked him if she recalled one experience they had with a potential employee in the past.

“We interviewed someone — the interview was amazing, incredible,” she began.

Ripa continued: “I was like, ‘This person is our person.’”

“And then she started bad-mouthing her previous boss, and we knew the person, and I was like, ‘Damn. Almost stuck the landing.’ I was like, ‘I can’t wait. Can you start Monday?’ And then I was like, ‘You’ll be hearing from us,’” Ripa went on.

She called the experience “very depressing” and didn’t explain further about the ordeal.

Earlier this week, Consuelos and Ripa dressed up in a slew of costumes for their Halloween special.

Among the looks that the pair sported were Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, Barbie and Ken, and Sonny and Cher.

Another pair of ensembles that the duo rocked was “Vanderpump Rules” stars Tom Sandoval and his ex-GF Ariana Madix. Conseulos wore a mustache similar to Sandoval, 41, and even had a messy-looking white manicure like the TomTom owner.

Sandoval and co-star Raquel Leviss were infamously embroiled in an affair earlier this year.

The “All My Children” actress and the “Missing” actor had reenacted the “VPR” Season 10 breakup and the Bravo show’s wild reunion for their talk show.

Madix, 38, reacted to Ripa’s and Consuelos’ costumes on Wednesday, calling the looks “amazing” in an interview with Us Weekly.

“I’ve been watching Kelly Ripa since I was very, very young, and I’ve always looked up to her and thought, ‘Wow, her career is so amazing,’” she noted.

Madix added: “So, the fact that she even knows who I am, that’s just awesome. … I’m like, ‘What the heck? This is insane.’”
