Set against the backdrop of Banffy Castle in Bonțida, Electric Castle 2026 returns with five days of music, energy, and a packed multi-stage schedule running from 16–19 July 2026 in the heart of Transylvania. The festival blends live performances with immersive experiences across the grounds, from late-night sets and electronic showcases to open-air installations, camping culture, and spontaneous moments that turn the castle estate into a temporary city of sound and discovery.
Wednesday – Opening Night (15 July) – Day 0
The grounds open with the traditional Camping Party, easing attendees into the weekend with DJ sets by none other than Partiboi69, known for his high-energy mix of hard house, techno, electro, and tongue-in-cheek rave culture, followed by none other than the legendary drum and bass icon, Wilkinson.
Thursday – July 16
The first full festival day opens the grounds in the afternoon and stretches deep into the night, with performances unfolding across Hangar, Booha, Hideout, Backyard, Beach, and other stages, creating a mix of electronic sounds, alternative acts, and the first full day of exploration across the festival grounds. Notable acts on the opening day include Sullivan King, Kneecap, Solardo, Kasablanca or SG Lewis.
Friday – July 17
Friday sees the opening of the infamous Electric Castle mainstage, hosting a diverse line-up that includes Teddy Swims, the headlining act of Twenty One Pilots, and a high-energy closing set from none other than Brazil’s very own Mochakk. Friday is set to be one of the most diverse days of this year’s edition, with sets from Skream and Subtronics on the hangar stage, while Booha Stage gets a line-up of techno/house pillars, including Anna, Kolsch, and Layla Benitez.
Saturday – July 18
Traditionally, the busiest day of Electric Castle, Saturday, brings back fan-favorite drum and bass duo Chase & Status, who close out an already packed main stage with their signature high-energy set. Booha stage gets a special extended set from Deep Dish, while the Hangar stage gets a very dancy line-up including Jax Jones, Aaron Hibell, and Maverick Sabre.
Sunday – July 19
The closing day of the 2026 edition takes on a more laid-back pace, giving festivalgoers a chance to slow down and soak in the final moments at the castle. With The Cure leading the evening as the day’s standout performance, the schedule stays intentionally lighter across the
other stages, creating space to wander, recharge, and end the weekend on a nostalgic, unhurried note.
Alongside the international acts and headliners, Electric Castle offers a wide variety of local talent, showcasing emerging Romanian and regional artists across its stages, adding depth and discovery to the overall festival experience. Art installations, creative workshops, and a vast amount of activities all contribute to making Electric Castle more of an experience than a festival.
