Elton John curates special remix LP for Record Store Day

With a career dating back decades, Elton John is certainly one of the most celebrated and successful artists on the planet. Despite being renowned for his rock hits, he has found new life on the charts in recent years alongside modern producers, singers, and remixes.

While the world was shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Elton John managed to put together a powerful collection of new collaborations and remixes that returned him to the charts. Working with Dua Lipa and Britney Spears, the rock icon managed to crossover into modern-day mainstream success, as he allowed prominent producers to add a modern flourish to his legendary talent. As his respective hits Cold Heart and Hold Me Closer captured a new generation of fans, he showed that music is timeless and ageless as long as the passion is still there.

In celebration of these recent successes, Elton John has curated a special LP of remixes that will be released on Record Store Day 2026. The limited edition release, Positiva Presents: Elton John – The Remixes, will be pressed on glow-in-the-dark vinyl and will see a run of 7,500 units under the ‘RSD First’ Release category.
