US Open 2021 champ Emma Raducanu celebrates her 21st birthday today – and while she is excelling in tennis, the athlete is also rapidly making a name for herself in the fashion world too.

Emma is now the brand ambassador for Dior – and her partnership with the iconic French fashion brand even seems to have been responsible for connecting her with her rumoured boyfriend Carlo Agostinelli.

The former head boy of Harrow’s mother, Mathilde Favier, is Dior’s head of PR, and the increasingly chic-looking star is scarcely seen without one of the designer’s iconic dresses when it comes to her public appearances.

She was clad in a Dior outfit for Carlos’ birthday bash, which took place at opulent private member’s club Oswald’s this summer, and was attended by royalty such as Princess Beatrice.

Tennis star Emma has also been showcasing the brand’s styles all over the world, memorably donning a long silver gown while channelling a Bond Girl at the No Time To Die premiere.

At the Women Supporting Women event in 2022, she famously wore a dress bearing the image of a woman kissing a serpent.

Unsurprisingly, the star also continued to choose Dior for one of the most unforgettable events in her life, back in 2022, when she accepted an MBE for her commitment to sport.

Emma opted for a black midi dress by the brand, with delicate lace detailing and ruffled cap sleeves, which was classically elegant without grabbing attention away from the achievement she was celebrating.

Meanwhile, back in May, she was in Dior when she enjoyed a glitzy event in Mexico City with her Carlos’ mum, notably walking arm in arm with her down the red carpet.

As well as cementing her status as a fashionista and posing as a cover star for Vogue magazine, she’s also been exploring her hobbies and passions.

Not about to let injuries defeat her, she took needing time out from tennis to have a string of surgeries in her stride, using the opportunity to recharge her batteries and even hone new skills.

The half-Romanian, half-Chinese star has indulged in painting sessions and piano practise, as well as enjoying quality time with her reported boyfriend’s family.

In an interview with Amazon Prime, the sporting champ elaborated: “I’ve been doing a lot off court, reading a lot and watching some tennis.

“Mentally, I feel like I’m in a better place to compete now than I ever have been before since the US Open.”

She added: “‘I just really wanted to expand what I do off the court because obviously when you’re playing you have little to no time to do anything.

“It was nice to have some time to learn new skills and do things I’d never done or tried before.”

However, in spite of her artistic interests, Emma has also acknowledged, much to the delight of her fans, that “at the end of the day, I’m itching to get back on court!”
