Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal.

Fans of the beloved 1990 film “Home Alone” went wild after a trailer was dropped on YouTube for an alleged third film starring Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern.

The fake trailer, which features a grown up Kevin McCallister (Culkin), reportedly takes place 30 years after the events of “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York” and shows the rapscallion facing off with the Wet Bandits one final time.

In the opening scene, Culkin, 43, opens the door to his home and spots a little red bag on his doorstep.

Bending down, Culkin opens the card to reveal a photo of his arch-nemeses Harry (Joe Pesci) and Marv (Daniel Stern) with the words: “We’re back little buddy.”

Looking out at his neighborhood, Culkin spots the familiar battered “Oh-Kay Plumbing and Heating” van parked nearby — a sign that trouble is about to ensue.

“This holiday season, it’s time to rediscover a classic. Kevin Mcallister is back – except this family is a little weird around Christmas,” the trailer’s voiceover begins.

The clip then takes viewers on a wild roller coaster involving several booby traps, SWAT teams and even someone being lit on fire.

“Home Alone” alum Catherine O’Hara is also featured at one point.

Sadly, the trailer is a very well-crafted fake with many of the clips being lifted from various television shows, movies and commercials.

Still, some viewers are hoping that it will be made into an actual film.

Also throughout the video several recognizable faces — including “Home Alone” alum Catherine O’Hara —are shown.

“I haven’t gone to the cinema in a long time, but if they make this parody into a real movie, I’ll grab my money and go to the cinema in an instant. I swear,” one eager fan commented.

“Everyone would go to the theaters for this,” a second person stated.

“I don’t care if this is only a parody,” added a third fan. “I totally could see this being an actual movie.”

One fan even suggested that if the video kept gaining popularity, it might get a chance to live on the silver screen.

“This parody is still pretty recent! If everybody shows enough high demand in the comments, we could convince them to make this a real movie,” the fan explained. “Legacy sequels are trending right now (hocus pocus 2, good burger 2, Mary Poppins returns, etc.) so this is DEFINITELY possible to make happen as a true Home Alone 2 sequel!”

Recently, Culkin received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his work on the iconic series.

“‘Home Alone’ was, is and always will be a beloved global sensation,” the “Schitt’s Creek” alum said. “The reason families all over the world can’t let a year go by without watching and loving ‘Home Alone’ together is because of Macaulay Culkin.”

According to the “Beetlejuice” star, Culkin “made acting look like the most natural thing in the world to do” as he brought his “sweet and twisted, yet totally relatable sense of humor to every project he does.”

“Macaulay, congratulations. You so deserve your star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” O’Hara concluded. “And thank you for including me, your fake mom who left you home alone not once but twice, to share in this happy occasion. I’m so proud of you.”
