Fred again.. reveals correspondence with Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter after the historic B2B

Following their historic B2B performance this past weekend, Fred again.. has now revealed the correspondence between himself and Thomas Bangalter. 

History unfolded right before our eyes this past weekend in London, and now Fred again.. has revealed the messages he and Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter exchanged following their legendary B2B performance at Alexandra Palace. A wholesome moment to say the least, both acts have now formed a strong bond between them, with this friendship being one that we most certainly cherish and admire. 

Taking to his Instagram stories, Fred again.. has posted two screen recordings from their correspondence, with the first one being Bangalter’s gratitude towards the man of the moment, as he wrote: “Thank you, my friend, for this special moment and this invitation to end your beautiful tour – it was genuine, sincere, and celebratory in the best possible way.” Replying to this, Fred again.. mentioned that “it was beyond an honour” and that “I cannot thank you enough,” with the follow-up screen recording also showing his response, one that “I will remember forever,” and “I can’t wait to get in a studio again and have some fun!”

A beautiful interaction between two iconic artists and genuine human beings, Bangalter also shared a video in the message exchange, one of a clip from the timeless movie that is Casablanca and its iconic ending quote of “Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.” Heartfelt to say the very least, this truly is a defining moment in dance music history, and we are more than grateful to bear witness to it.
