Hardwell closed out Tomorrowland 2026 Weekend 2 Day 1 on the Mainstage on Friday July 24 with a full-throttle, big-room Revealed-heavy headline set. He also wore a very meaningful jacket for the moment: one that once belonged to his dear friend Avicii, from Tim’s 2016 US writing tour. Read our full breakdown of the Avicii jacket moment.
The set opened on ‘Believe’ with braev (Intro Edit) before flowing straight into a huge W&W collab ‘Bangkok’ layered over Sebastian Ingrosso & Tommy Trash’s ‘Reload’ acappella, and then his instantly-recognisable classic ‘Spaceman’ with a Michael Jackson ‘Beat It’ acappella flip. From there, JUNIVERZ & 2ACES IDs sat over Tim Berg’s ‘Seek Bromance’ and David Guetta’s ‘Ain’t A Party’ acappellas, keeping the nostalgic run rolling.
Peak-time sections leaned into fresh IDs from ZYNOX and Hardwell x Olly James, huge acappella moments from Icona Pop & Charli XCX’s ‘I Love It’, Rihanna’s ‘Where Have You Been’, and DVLM & Martin Garrix’s ‘Tremor’. Hardwell bootlegs of DJ Sammy’s ‘Heaven’, ANOTR’s ‘Talk To You’, Alice Deejay’s ‘Better Off Alone’ and Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso’s ‘Calling’ all landed – some of the biggest sing-along moments of the entire festival.
The closing third pulled no punches: Hardwell & Azteck & Dr Phunk’s ‘LOW’, Hardwell & Bassjackers’ ‘Bang On The Drums’, a Hardwell & W&W remix of Showtek & Justin Prime’s ‘Cannonball’ over the ‘Apollo’ acappella, a huge ‘Tsunami vs. Power’ Hardwell Mashup, Hardwell & Maddix’s ‘AI CARALHO’, ‘4444 OF A KIND & Hardwell – RE4SON’, and the Lil Jon-featuring Sub Zero Project collab ‘Brace For Impact’. He closed on ‘IRIS’ with Sound Rush, sending the Mainstage into overdrive.
