Heros, zeros and the full blitz from the Jets’ loss to the Bills on Sunday:
Hero
Bills quarterback Josh Allen has struggled against the Jets in the past but not on Sunday.
He threw three touchdown passes and his only interception came on a Hail Mary attempt at the end of the first half.
Allen completed 20 of 32 passes for 275 yards.
Zero
Zach Wilson had a terrible day and was benched in the third quarter in place of Tim Boyle.
You have to wonder when we’ll see Wilson again.
He completed just 7 of 15 passes for 81 yards with one touchdown and an interception.
He did not complete a pass to a wide receiver.
Unsung hero
Bills running back Ty Johnson, a former Jet who was cut by the team, had three catches for 47 yards, including a 28-yard touchdown that gave the Bills a 22-6 lead in the third quarter.
Key stat
The Jets have not swept a division opponent since 2016 when they won both meetings against the Bills.
The Jets beat Buffalo in Week 1 this season but could not complete the season sweep.
Quote
“It felt like one of those games where we couldn’t do anything. It felt like one of those games everything felt really hard.”
