ITV viewers have slammed the “public” following the penultimate episode of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! and begged for them to “do the right thing” ahead of tonight’s final.
This Morning host Josie Gibson was the latest famous face to be voted out of the jungle, which meant that Sam Thompson, Nigel Farage and Tony Bellew made it to the final three. However, her departure was not recieved well by viewers at home.
I’m A Celeb viewers furiously ranted on X, formally known as Twitter, to question who had voted for Nigel Farage to stay in the competition. They also voiced who they wanted to win the show.
One person penned: “Now to crown Sam the king of the jungle, really want him to win. If not Sam I’ll not be upset if Tony takes it but definitely not Nigel please god British public do the right thing #ImACeleb.”
A second chimed in: “#SamThompson to win #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity now please!!! He deserves to be crowned the king of the jungle, cos from day 1 he’s brought so much good energy & entertainment to the camp, & it deffo wouldn’t have been the same without him. Let’s make it happen for him!”(sic)
A third typed: “Nigel Farage still in #ImACelebrity I can’t believe it! Who is actually voting to keep him in. I really hope Sam wins this year such a lovely kind soul we need more people like Sam.”
A fourth commented: “If Sam doesn’t win tomorrow I’m afraid of what I might do! Also I need tony second cause how the hell has Nigel got this far who is actually voting him?? I used all my 5 votes on sam.”
Nigel is a British broadcaster on GB News and a politician who used to be the leader of the UKIP Party. In this series he has managed to avoid the public eviction so far and has made it all the way to Sunday’s final.
Sam shot to fame after appearing on the E4 reality series Made in Chelsea, meanwhile, Tony Bellew is known for being a world champion heavyweight boxer. All three will appear in the final episode tonight on ITV.
Nigel’s involvement has sparked controversy after it was revealed that he was paid £1.5 million to feature on the show. Best for Britain launched a campaign urging the public to pledge to boycott the show, with more than 1000 people signing up.
He also clashed with campmates Nella Rose and Fred Sirieix about Brexit and his views on immigration. Sam Thompson is the hot favourite to be crowned King of the Jungle, according to bookies.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! concludes tonight on ITV at 9pm.
