It’s time to celebrate!
Joe Jonas and his estranged wife, Sophie Turner, have finally reached a temporary custody agreement regarding their two daughters, Willa and Delphine.
“After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the U.S. and the U.K.,” the pair said in a statement to “Us Weekly” on Tuesday, October 10.
The exes ended the announcement stating, “We look forward to being great co-parents.”
The Post has reached out to Jonas and Turner for comment.
Earlier today The Post reported that a judge paused their New York child custody case after Jonas, 34, and Turner, 27, agreed that their daughters will split their time equally in both countries.
Manhattan Federal Court Judge Katherine Polk Failla agreed to pause the case and cancel the previously scheduled Jan. 2 trial date set during a hearing a week ago.
“Due to the progress made at mediation, the parties believe that an amicable resolution on all issues between them is forthcoming,” attorneys for both sides wrote in a letter to the court.
Jonas and Turner welcomed their first daughter, Willa, on July 22, 2020, in a Los Angeles hospital.
“The couple is already obsessed and can’t stop gloating about their new addition,” a source told Entertainment Tonight at the time. “The couple is taking time to enjoy this special moment and have only shared the news and updates with family and friends.”
Turner gave birth to her second child, Delphine, on July 14, 2022.
After four years of marriage, Jonas filed for divorce in September 2023. Soon after, Turner sued the singer, calling for “the immediate return of children wrongfully removed or wrongfully retained.”
Willa and Delphine are currently living with Turner in the “Southern District of New York” after joining Jonas on tour for three months.
