Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis was taken off the field on cart on Saturday after suffering what appeared to be a serious leg injury.
With 1:57 left in the first quarter against North Alabama, the senior signal-call took fake a handoff and scrambled for the first down, but as he looked to gain more yardage, he was taken down and appeared to severely injure his left leg.
The training staff immediately came over to attend to Travis, who was eventually loaded onto a cart as he exited the playing field.
Both teams went out to the field to wish him well, as fans inside Doak S. Campbell Stadium gave him a standing ovation and a cheer with his name.
During an impressive senior season, Travis has thrown for over 2,700 yards and 20 touchdowns with just two interceptions.
Tate Rodemaker entered the game as the quarterback following the injury.
