Katie Price said she managed to rescue part of her wedding dress despite it being chewed on by rats.

The entrepreneur and model, 45, reflected on her marriage to former husband Peter Andre, 50, during her one-off live podcast event at The Lowry Theatre in Salford.

She was joined on stage with her younger sister Sophie Price and during the show she discussed weddings and former husbands.

Speaking about the memorable pink garment, which cost the star an eye-watering £45,000, was designed by Isabell Kristensen and was covered in shimmering crystals.

It also featured a 14ft long train with an expansive skirt as she walked down the aisle in the show-stopping number in 2005.

Following her marriage split from Pete, Katie admittedly left the dress to rot.

According to The Sun, the TV personality told the crowd: “It’s been half eaten by rats. It was left in a bag in a container.”

She added: “So I have got it out, the top bit has sort of lost its crystals.

“I tried to put it around me but I’ve had a few boob jobs since then but the skirt is still amazing.

“I did want to wear it out tonight but I thought that would be a bit wrong.”

Katie went on to share that it was an amazing dress but added the skirt was too heavy, and while wearing a crown it felt like a workout.

During the show, the podcast host also indulged in a Q&A session and she performed two songs on stage.

Katie and Peter met on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004.

The pair had two children, son Junior and daughter Princess Tiaamii before splitting in 2009.

The Katie Price Show Live comes after she reportedly rekindled her romance with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Carl Woods.
