King Charles doesn’t want anything interfering with his cancer treatment, including his ongoing feud with Prince Harry, according to a royal expert.

The monarch, 75, has not seen his estranged son since his blink-and-you’ll-miss-it trip to London in February.

While Harry has been back on home soil since, the pair did not make any plans to see each other despite being just 2.6 miles apart.

However, according to royal commentator Michael Cole, the duo didn’t meet up because the king wanted to prioritize his own recovery and public duties.

“I think it really is practicalities,” Cole told GB News. “The king is facing an unspecified cancer. That is really a harrowing thing for any person to do.”

“At the same time, he is the head of state and he has to maintain his duties and be out and be seen. He doesn’t want his equilibrium to be upset.”

“It is upsetting to him that his younger son has said such heartless and cruel things, not just about himself, but about Queen Camilla, and that has gone home harder than anything else he could do,” Cole added.

Cole said the king didn’t “want to be bothered with this because it is emotionally upsetting.”

“I think any physician will tell you when you’re undergoing treatment of this kind, the best thing to be is relaxed and clear your own mind,” he shared.

“Let the physicians do their work and get better as soon as possible, that is what he wants to do. It has been upsetting for him to see.”

Last week, author and royal expert Tom Quinn told the Mirror that Charles was left “absolutely furious” over Harry and his wife Meghan Markle’s three-day trip to Nigeria.

“Everything you might expect from an official royal visit was there — the receptions, the visits to schools and charities, to wounded soldiers and the disabled,” he said. “Charles is said to be angrier than anyone has ever seen him.”

Quinn said the couple’s trip confirmed the royal family’s “worst fears.”

The Sussexes, who quit royal life in 2020, were invited to Nigeria by the country’s chief of defense staff — its highest-ranking military official.
