Trance fans, mark your calendars. Luminosity Beach Festival 2027 will expand into a full seven-day celebration from 21 to 27 June in Zandvoort, the Netherlands, to mark the beloved event’s monumental 20th anniversary. The announcement comes just as the dust settles on a successful 2026 edition, and it is easily the most ambitious plan Luminosity has ever put together.
A week of trance memories across Amsterdam, Bloemendaal and Zandvoort
Originally founded in 2007 by Bo van Eck as a simple idea born from a Dutch trance forum – Bo famously met co-organizer Otto in a Utrecht pub, and the first festival opened with a five-DJ lineup — Luminosity has grown into arguably the most respected pure-trance festival in the world.
The 2027 celebration will kick off Monday 21 June with an opening pre-party, still to be announced. On Tuesday 22 June the festival takes over the legendary Paradiso in Amsterdam. Wednesday 23 June brings a nostalgic return to Beachclub Fuel in Bloemendaal, the site of countless Luminosity moments. Then from Thursday 24 June through Sunday 27 June, the festival will finally return to its spiritual home at Beachclub Bernie’s in Zandvoort for four full days of trance under the summer sun.
