Meghan Markle expressed her gratitude to fans and her team after her podcast, Archetypes, won a top award back in 2022.

The Duchess of Sussex said she enjoyed working on the podcast and having “digging deep into meaningful conversation” with her guests, who included Serena Williams, Mariah Carey and Paris Hilton.

Her Spotify-exclusive podcast, which has since been cancelled, bagged the People’s Choice Award for pop podcast of 2022 at an event in Los Angeles, California.

Meghan couldn’t be there to accept the award at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica as she and Prince Harry were in New York City for the Ripple of Hope Award Gala. They received an award for their work in racial justice and mental health through their Archewell Foundation.

Expressing her thanks to her team and fans for supporting her podcast, Meghan wrote on her website Archewell today: “Thank you to all the supporters and fans of Archetypes who voted for us for this special People’s Choice Award.”

She later added “Above all, huge thanks to each of you who voted. Your support means the world.”

This news dropped a day before Royal enthusiasts anxiously prepare for the controversial six-part Netflix documentary about Prince Harry and Meghan, showcasing their early stages as a couple, their life as a married pair, and the lead-up to the birth of their son Archie.

In 2024, the Sussexes have been enjoying their trip to Whistler resort in British Columbia, Canada to celebrate the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games.

During their trip, Harry divulged more information about his visit to King Charles in a chat with Good Morning America.

He also revealed that he considered becoming an official US citizen as he “doesn’t feel American”.

However, he also said it wasn’t a “priority”, presumably given his father’s ongoing health battle.
