Meghan is a big fan of coconut oil
Use coconut oil
One of Meghan’s cupboard must-haves is coconut oil, which she uses for a variety of different things, both in her food and on her skin.
Coconut oil can be used as a face and hair mask to deeply moisturise and prevent water loss from the skin, as well as strengthen the hair.
Meghan explained: “I have been using a lot of coconut oil though of late, on my skin on my hair like as a deep conditioner and then even to cook with. So, I guess that’s the second thing that I’m a big fan of.”

Meghan’s favourite concealer
The Duchess’ all-time favourite beauty product is one which is famous with celebrities and regular people alike, as it has achieved cult status in the beauty world.
The Touche Éclat concealer by Yves Saint Laurent costs around £30 and is available from all good beauty retailers, and is described as “instantly help[ing] to brighten your best facial features without shimmer or glitter, giving a natural, luminous finish”.
Meghan explained her love of the product: “And then in terms of actual beauty products, I would say one of my favourite things in the world is just Touche Éclat concealer under the eyes. It’ll save you on the days when you didn’t get quite enough sleep.
“To open up your eyes, apply a highlighter like Yves Saint Laurent’s Touche Éclat in the inner corner. This trick is especially good when we are filming at 3am and I need to look bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.”

How to get her natural look
According to make up artists, the Duchess of Sussex prefers a ‘no make up’ make up look, and requests her foundation is not too heavy so she does not look too ‘done’.
Meghan’s former hairstylist and make up artist, Lydia F. Sellers, told Refinery 29: “Every time I’d do Meghan Markle‘s make-up, she’d say, ‘Can we just make sure my freckles are peeking through? I don’t want a ton of foundation’.”
On her days off Meghan doesn’t even wear foundation, instead preferring a more low-key primer, with a little bit of powder and blush to give her skin its trademark glow.
Her eyes are normally done in a smoky style, with some mascara, eyeliner and shimmer powder in the corner of the eyes to add some sparkle, while her lips are kept looking natural with a pink or nude tone.
