The Jets have dealt with plenty of offensive line injuries this season, and now they might have a Mekhi Becton scare to navigate, too.
Their left tackle was taken back to the locker room on a cart near the end of the first quarter after appearing to get his right ankle rolled onto following a sack.
He suffered an ankle injury, according to the CBS broadcast, and is questionable to return.
Carter Warren filled Becton’s spot at left tackle.
Bills linebacker Terrel Bernard burst through the line of scrimmage untouched, and as he tore toward Zach Wilson, the Jets’ quarterback took a step left and ended up getting tackled by a pile of players.
And somewhere in there was Becton, who remained down after the play until trainers arrived.
Becton had appeared in just one game for the Jets across 2021 and 2022 due to injuries, with a season-ending knee issue ending his campaign last year before it ever started.
In 2021, he needed knee surgery after an injury in their opener against the Panthers.
