The early hot start for the Los Angeles Clippers has slowly disappeared as they look to get on track Tuesday night with a trip to face the Denver Nuggets.

The Clippers began the season at 3-1, but after acquiring guard James Harden from the 76ers, they have since lost four straight games with the former All-Star in the lineup and five overall.

Los Angeles probably hit its low point of the season in Sunday’s 105-101 home loss to Memphis, who entered that contest with one win.

The defending NBA champion Nuggets haven’t skipped a beat by winning eight of their first 10 games, including victories over the Warriors, Mavericks, and Lakers.

Denver was tripped up at Houston on Sunday night, as star guard Jamal Murray remains sidelined.

Betting on the NBA?

The Nuggets had their way with the Clippers last season by winning all four matchups, including a pair of double-digit victories at Ball Arena.

Although the Clippers have struggled since acquiring Harden, look for them to pull it together in tonight’s showdown in Denver and cover as 4.5-point underdogs.
