It’s Week 11 in the NFL and we’re back at it with another round of DFS picks for the main slate on Sunday.
It’s been a few weeks since we’ve gone 4-for-4 on PrizePicks, so hopefully this is the week we get back on track.
I have scoured the PrizePicks lobby to come up with my four favorite DFS plays for Sunday’s games.
As usual, half of my entry will be on the Power Play and half on the Flex Play.
Dak Prescott more than 12.5 rushing yards
Ever since the Cowboys had their bye in Week 7, they have turned the reins of the offense over to Prescott.
Why run the ball for 3.5 yards per carry when you have one of the most explosive passing offenses in football?
Over the last three games, Prescott is first in quarterback rating, passing yards and fantasy points.
It’s worth noting that two of those three games were blowout wins against the Rams and Giants.
I point this out because the Cowboys have remained aggressive even when playing with a lead.
The more the Cowboys pass the ball, the more opportunities Dak has to scramble.
He has rushed for at least 14 yards in each of the last four games.
Kyler Murray + Marquise Brown more than 0.5 rushing + receiving touchdowns
I really like this option on PrizePicks.
We have two chances at a touchdown with teammates, which helps cover the bases a little.
In Murray’s first start back, he looked tremendous.
I wasn’t sure how mobile he would be, but he had six rushing attempts for 33 yards and ran one in for a touchdown.
If Murray runs another one in, that’s perfect.
If he throws a few touchdowns, we have a good chance of getting this projection with Brown, who has a 24% target share on the season and played very well with Murray last season.
This is also a solid matchup for Arizona, as the Texans are 25th in dropback EPA this season.
Riley Patterson more than 1.5 field goals made
When it comes to field goal projections, I like kickers who are playing for offensive-minded teams that are favored.
An added bonus is when a kicker is playing indoors since weather won’t be a factor (especially this time of year).
The Lions are 7.5-point favorites at home against the Bears, who surprisingly have a very good run defense, which could cause some third-and-longs in the red zone.
Patterson has made at least two field goals in five of his last six games, and I like his chances to do it again this week with the three conditions laid out above all being met.
Betting on the NFL?
Brandon McManus more than 1.5 field goals made
We are going with two kicking projections this week.
The second is McManus, who has made at least one field goal in every game this season and who has made at least three field goals in four games.
The Jaguars are 7-point favorites at home against the Titans, who seem like a perfect matchup for a kicker.
The Titans have one of the biggest pass-funnel defenses in the NFL.
In other words, they are very good against the run and very bad against the pass.
This allows opponents to move the ball easily, but can also lead to stalled drives since there are often third-and-long situations.
