The news was shared by his family and close friends via his official Instagram account, with an outpouring of tributes from the wider dance music community following almost immediately. Nico Stojan spent years as one of the most respected figures inside the Bar 25 and Katerholzig ecosystems in Berlin – venues that shaped an entire era of the city’s underground electronic music culture. His sound wove downtempo grooves with warm house textures and cinematic melodic techno, and it became a signature listen for a generation of Berlin fans who came of age inside those legendary spaces.
