Patrick Mahomes didn’t have time for pleasantries.

The Chiefs quarterback let Josh Allen know exactly what he thought of the controversial offsides penalty that robbed the Chiefs of a potential go-ahead touchdown in the final two minutes in their 20-17 home loss to the Bills.

“The wildest f–king call I’ve ever seen. Offensive offsides in that moment, man … f–king terrible,” Mahomes told Allen after the game, according to video captured by News 8 WROC. “F–king terrible, man.”

It’s rare to see postgame conversations between the quarterbacks that are one-sided discussions featuring one signal-caller openly complaining about a call that helped the other team’s quarterback win, but Mahomes could not help himself after a call that overshadowed the rest of the game.

Trailing by three with less than two minutes remaining, Mahomes found Travis Kelce at the Bills’ 24-yard line before he lateraled to Kadarius Toney.

The ex-Giant then raced into the end zone to seemingly put the Chiefs ahead … but some yellow laundry was on the field.

The referees made the rare ruling that Toney had lined up offsides on the play, negating one of the most brilliant plays – by Kelce – in NFL history.

Mahomes then tossed three straight incompletions and the Bills escaped Arrowhead with a win.

The two-time MVP stewed on the sidelines after turning the ball over, which carried into his post-game interaction with Allen.

“Let us play the game,” Mahomes said. “Then, whatever happens happens. That’s why last week, I didn’t say anything. Let us play. You want it to be about your team and their team — and see what happens. I want to go play … then see what happens at the end. Then, I can live with the results.

“The flag today was tough. Offensive offsides. You point to the ref, you’re good or not good. You have a discussion. That’s the ref’s job. For him to throw that flag, no explanation or anything. I saw the picture. He’s barely offsides. It didn’t affect the play at all. At all.”
