Jeff Brazier broke down in tears as he watched his son Bobby Brazier pay tribute to his late mum Jade Goody.

The proud dad, 44, could not contain his emotions as he watched the Strictly Come Dancing star take to the dancefloor with his dance partner Dianne Buswell.

The dancing duo performed a contemporary routine for their Couple’s Choice to Maxwell’s A Woman’s Worth and there was not a dry eye in the BBC studio as even head judge Shirley Ballas broke down in tears.

Tears could be seen rolling down Jeff’s cheek as he watched on from the crowd and placed his arm around his youngest son Freddie Brazier.

Following the emotional routine, host Claudia Winkleman asked Bobby: “What a beautiful dance. What did that mean for you during rehearsals and in front of your dad and your brother… the whole audience?”

He replied: “I don’t what to say. I just know how blessed I am. I have beautiful friends and a beautiful family. I’m here. I’ve got a beautiful partner.

“I get to dance to my favourite song and make people feel a story because we felt a story.”

Bobby added: “It’s something that I’ll never forget.”

Viewers flocked to social media and commented on the heartbreaking performance where the amateur dancer honoured his late mum, Jade, who sadly died at the age of 27 from cervical cancer in 2009.

Emmerdale star Lisa Riley praised: “Dear dear dear @BobbyBrazier. THANK YOU so much, you danced tonight for everyone who lost their Mums far too young -your angel, your dance, your moment….you shared it and we lived and loved it!@diannebuswell your earth angel with you all the way @bbcstrictly @bbc your mums HERO.”

A viewer agreed: “We all have memories and a relationship with Jade Goody and that dance by Bobby Brazier was so beautiful. I can’t stop crying. I don’t think we will ever forget that moment.”

A third penned: “Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell’s dance was amazing and beautiful to watch tonight. It was an amazing and beautiful and emotional dance. It was a beautiful dance tribute to his mum and for his mum. It made me cry when I saw them crying. Wow.”

“I’m crying watching it. I remember his beautiful Mum, she would be so so proud,” a fourth person added.

After Bobby’s routine, he embraced Dianne in a hug as the muffled sounds of cries could be heard with the dancing duo scoring an impressive 37 out of points from the judges.

In an emotional VT before Bobby’s performance, Jeff paid tribute to Jade and said how proud she would be of their son.

He told the camera “as a family we are very tight, we have had to be as loss has made us grow closer”.

Bobby, 19, was only five when Jade, who rose to fame on Big Brother in 2002, died of cervical cancer on Mother’s Day in March 2009.

Strictly Come Dancing: The Results Show airs Sunday at 7.20pm.
