Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell, 34, enjoyed some downtime with her boyfriend Joe Sugg, 32, at the weekend, following her latest routine with dance partner Bobby Brazier.

The couple, who got together after being partnered up in the show in 2018, indirectly shut down ongoing speculation about their relationship by sharing pictures from their minibreak with fans on Instagram.

In the first snap, Joe took over camera duties as he and Dianne posed for a selfie while stripped down to swimwear in a lake.

Captioning the post, he wrote: “Pretending to be frogs.”

The YouTube star followed up his picture with another of the pair facing each other while swimming.

Joe and Dianne’s minibreak came after she and Bobby made it through to another week in the competition, following their intimate Argentine Tango routine on Saturday.

To conclude the performance, the dancer slid towards her partner before they wrapped their arms around each other.

Viewers then questioned if the pair had kissed, as they posed in hold with their faces seemingly touching.

The moment certainly garnered a lot of attention online, particularly after the EastEnders star recently confessed he was “falling in love” with the red-head beauty.

Speaking to The Mirror, he said: “I could speak about Dianne all day.

“She’s just a diamond – you know what, I’m falling in love with her. She’s just great. I feel very lucky.”

Dianne is said to have been hit by “cruel” comments online regarding her closeness with Bobby.

A source told the publication: “The cruel remarks she has read about her relationship with Bobby – who has been really supportive – have hit her hard.

“Her and Joe are still very much together and he has also been very supportive, and made it clear publicly that he has her back.”

Earlier on in the series, fans sparked concerns about her relationship with Joe after she was overcome with emotion during a live show.

Speaking in Claudia Winkleman’s corner, the dancer said Bobby had been her “rock” as she leaned in to hug him while holding back tears.

After many questioned her relationship, she later explained that she was emotional due to her dad being ill back home in Australia.

In a Q&A, she spilled: “I thought I would be very upfront and honest with you all.

“Last week I got some news about my dad’s health and I won’t go into detail, but obviously that affected me.

“Being away from home and not being able to support and help your family in a time of need is quite a difficult thing so I did struggle a little bit last week in terms of that.”

She went on to say her family had plans to fly over to the UK for Christmas and watch her in Strictly, but she will now travel to them.

“There is a little road ahead for my dad but I believe 100 per cent he is going to be fine and we are all going to get through it together,” Dianne added.
