Gisele Bündchen intends to keep her private life just that — private.
The Brazilian supermodel, 43, “preferred not to comment” on dating rumors involving her jiu-jitsu trainer, Joaquim Valente, during a wide-ranging interview with ABC’s Robin Roberts on “IMPACT x Nightline: Gisele Bündchen: Climbing the Mountain,” which aired Thursday on Hulu.
Bündchen, who was first linked to Valente in November 2022 following her divorce from Tom Brady, did disclose to Roberts, though, “That going forward, she intends to keep her personal life private to protect her family.”
That family includes daughter Vivian, 11, and son Benjamin, 14, whom she shares with the seven-time Super Bowl champion.
Once regarded as one of the biggest power couples on the planet, Bündchen and Brady, 47, parted ways in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.
When discussing the aftermath of their split with Roberts, 63, an emotional Bündchen took a brief pause before opening up about her “new chapter.”
“I think sometimes in life things happen. I feel so blessed because, like, I wouldn’t change anything in my life,” she said.
“I learned so much, I have my children, who are the biggest blessings in my life, and now I get to create —it’s a new season, it’s a new chapter of my life and I get to learn new things, and I get to walk my path in a different way.”
Although Bündchen is keeping the focus on her family, she is open to love again.
“I think right now, really, my priority is my kids and creating this beautiful sanctuary for family and then, yes, why not, right?” she told Roberts.
A source told People last month that Bündchen and Valente “have been dating since June.”
“They’re taking it slow. They started out as great friends first. She’s very private about this and wanted to keep it quiet while they got to know each other,” the insider said.
Since the divorce, Brady has been linked to Russian supermodel Irina Shayk.
