Travis Kelce’s first time in Argentina to see Taylor Swift was nothing short of “electric.”
The Chiefs tight end, 34, spilled the tea Wednesday about the couple’s itinerary in Buenos Aires, where Swift opened the international leg of her “Eras Tour” over the weekend.
“I got there Friday and left Sunday,” Travis said on the latest installment of his “New Heights” podcast. “I was there two nights. I got down there hoping that I was going to see Taylor’s first, or I guess second show, but it got rained out — really, it got thunder and lightning-ed out.
“It got postponed because the entire stage is an LED screen, so lightning and electronics don’t mesh very well — or water.”
That’s when co-host Jason Kelce joked: “It sounds like a labyrinth of issues there.”
The Eagles center, 35, was seemingly referring to Swift’s song “Labyrinth,” and the brothers shared a laugh.
Swift, 33, had to postpone her Friday concert due to inclement weather and performed Sunday instead.
Travis explained that he met Swift’s father, Scott Swift, for the first time at dinner on Friday, when the new couple was seen holding hands while walking through Elena restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel in Buenos Aires.
“He’s a huge football guy,” Travis said, adding that Scott played college football. “He’s a tall guy, about 6-foot-2 … I think he was linebacker and center. He was kind of a dual position.”
The All-Pro NFLer was a big fan of the Argentinian cuisine.
“We got some good food, man,” Travis said. “Some empanadas, steak — they’re big on all the different cuts of meat.
“Really, the only night we had a chance to go to dinner was the night the show got postponed, so we didn’t want to just go and have a blast throughout the city like we didn’t care about the show — so we made sure we stayed in the hotel and kind of kept to ourselves, man.”
Travis gushed that he was “blown away” by Swift’s show and said the crowd was “electric” at Estadio River Plate.
He also looked ecstatic when she changed the lyrics in her song “Karma” to include a Chiefs reference.
“For those of you who haven’t seen all the videos of me on your TikTok or Instagram feed, I was enjoying myself down there in Buenos Aires,” he said.
“The show was even more electric knowing that I had a little bit more to enjoy for and Taylor absolutely ripped it.
“She killed it and it looked like she was having some fun up there.”
Elsewhere during the podcast, Jason noted that Travis has been cautious about what he shares concerning his relationship with Swift.
“You’ve been on record saying you want to keep your private life private,” Jason said, to which Travis agreed.
“I could still keep that part private, but this was public,” the Chiefs star said.
Travis — who visited Swift during the Chiefs’ bye week — was photographed boarding a private plane to Argentina on Friday and then again on Sunday to return home to Kansas City.
He was also seen standing with Scott during the pop star’s concert, where the two seemed friendly — with Scott, a Philadelphia native, sporting a Chiefs lanyard.
Travis joked with his brother that he “got [Scott] over to the good side.”
After the show, Swift ran off the stage and right into Travis’ arms as they shared a kiss.
Travis and Swift were first linked in September and went public with their relationship the next month, when they were seen holding hands while out together in New York City.
They are reportedly planning to spend the holidays together with their families in December.
