Best MacBook Air Black Friday deals
Apple MacBook Air (2020)
The MacBook Air received a big boost in speed and battery life over Intel models thanks to Apple’s M1 chip, all while keeping the same sleek design. You’ll get this $750 price after clipping the $99 coupon at Amazon.
Apple MacBook Air 13-inch M2 (2022)
$100 off the 2022 MacBook Air is a nice deal for a popular Apple laptop that was only released in the past year and comes with a big design and screen refresh. The 2022 MacBook Air introduces Apple’s M2 processor, offering a decent performance boost over the M1 version.
Apple MacBook Air 15-inch M2 (2023)
The 15-inch MacBook Air (2023) gives you more screen space without breaking the bank. This 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD base model is back down to its all-time low price.
Best MacBook Pro Black Friday deals
Apple 14-inch MacBook Pro with M3
$150 off the brand new M3 MacBook Pro is more than we expected so soon after launch. The new laptop is yet another excellent device, but if you have an M2, we’d hold off upgrading. M1 users will notice a considerable improvement, and if you’re still using an Intel MacBook Pro, this will basically blow your socks off.
Apple 16-inch MacBook Pro with M3 Pro
This larger 16-inch MacBook Pro packs a real punch with the new M3 Pro chip paired with 18GB of unified memory. If heavy multitasking and media editing are part of your regular workflow, this is a great investment, and $200 off so soon after launch is a great find. If you’re not going to need all this power, we’d recommend picking up a MacBook Air instead.
MacBook Black Friday FAQs
Which MacBook should you buy?
Apple’s MacBook laptops are priced to match their intended users. The more affordable MacBook Air models are excellent options for the vast majority of people who need a quick, responsive, and reliable laptop for pretty much any task, except intensive photo and video editing. Even then, MacBook Airs can still be quite capable with lighter visual workloads.
And now that Apple released a 15-inch model of the MacBook Air, those who prefer larger screens no longer need to buy a MacBook Pro to satisfy their preference.
The more expensive MacBook Pros have more powerful hardware suited for heavier workloads, especially visually based work like intensive photo and video editing. While the MacBook Pros also come with slightly better displays, better battery life, and more ports, they’re still overkill based on value for the vast majority of people.
