Jaden and Willow Smith reportedly “feel bad” for their dad, Will Smith, amid Jada Pinkett Smith’s marriage bombshells.

A source close to the siblings claimed that the duo “feel bad for their dad with all the recent headlines about their parents.”

“They know he has been going through a lot lately and this isn’t helping,” the source told Entertainment Tonight. “They wish some of their family’s private matters remained private.”

Additionally, the source claimed that Trey Smith, Smith’s son with ex-wife Sheree Zampino, feels the same way.

As for Will, 55, the actor is reportedly “trying to stay busy and has been hanging out with his good friends and his kids.”

“He’s trying not to let any outside noise impact him,” continued the source. “Will loves Jada and feels like he has always had her back and always will. He has been trying to be supportive, while also taking care of himself.”

The Post reached out to Smith for comment.

Despite their alleged feelings, Pinkett Smith revealed that Willow has read the book.

“What I did was tell them what’s in the book, what stories I was going to tell about them specifically, and [ask] if they were okay with that. Willow has read [it], she’s an avid reader, and she’s the next author in the family. She has a [fiction] book coming out on May 7 [2024],” she told InStyle in an interview published on Oct. 17. “But she read a huge part of my book before it was even edited, so she loved it. She couldn’t wait, she’s like, ‘Mom, I’m taking this copy. I got to finish my read.’ She was super excited about it. But the boys [Jaden and Trey], I just told them what was in it. They’ll read it eventually.”

Pinkett Smith’s book tour for “Worthy,” which hit shelves on Oct. 17, began last week during an exclusive interview with Hoda Kotb where she revealed that she and Will have been living separate lives for nearly seven years.

“I think by the time we got to 2016 we were just exhausted with trying,” the actress said on the Oct. 13 primetime special. “I think we were both kind of just still stuck in our fantasy of what we thought the other person should be.

“I made a promise that there will never be a reason for us to get a divorce. We will work through whatever,” she continued. “And I just haven’t been able to break that promise.”

“When you’ve been with someone for more than half of your life, a sort of emotional blindness sets in,” Smith wrote, according to the Times article published Saturday. “And you can all too easily lose your sensitivity to their hidden nuances and subtle beauties.”

Despite their separation, the “Girl’s Trip” actress claimed she never once cheated on her husband.

“I just need people to know, OK, I did not cheat on Will Smith. No matter how sad he looked at that table,” Jada, 52, shared on Saturday, while appearing on Talkshoplive.

“And when you read this book, you will kind of get an understanding of why the ‘Red Table’ even happened in the first place.”

“I’m in a place of peace. I’m in a place of happiness. And in all honesty, I love where I am,” continued Pinkett Smith. “As far as Will, my relationship with him, you know, we went through that long period of separation… in order for us to journey separately and do some journeying together.”

She concluded: “And it just seems as though we’ve come to a really, really beautiful place together. So I just, I’m happy. Yeah, that’s where I am. In this chapter of my life, I am finally happy.”

Pinkett Smith’s book “Worthy” is available for purchase on Amazon and other bookstores.
