What started as a casual scroll on TikTok has now turned into an official release, as WITH U and Joshua Baraka join forces on ‘Girl In Ibiza’, out now via Crash Your Sound.
The track didn’t follow the usual studio process. Instead, it began with a short clip of Joshua Baraka in the studio, singing a topline that quickly caught attention online. Shortly after, WITH U picked up the idea, rebuilt it in their DAW, and shared their version back on the platform. That moment sparked an instant connection, and eventually, a finished record.
Musically, ‘Girl In Ibiza’ leans into a melodic, groove-led sound, blending warm vocals with a light, open-air production style. At the same time, the track captures a sense of escapism, balancing laid-back energy with a hook that feels built for repeat listens.
Speaking on the process, WITH U said: “We were just scrolling through TikTok one evening when we stumbled upon this clip of Joshua in the studio… It instantly caught us. We opened our DAW right away, built a remake around it, and posted it back. Joshua saw it, loved it – and that’s how the collaboration was born.”
Meanwhile, Joshua Baraka added: “That video was just me in the studio, having fun… I didn’t expect much, but when I saw what WITH U did with it, it felt right. Nothing forced, just pure vibe.”
